Blueprint Attachment Broken (4.11)

Hello!

I’ve been having terrible trouble attaching a physics object to a motion control component in 4.11. The main issue stems from attachment not behaving like it should (in many cases it simply fails). I’ve managed to get a set up that almost works, but have discovered that it’s still woefully unreliable:

In the top graph, the object is not attached as expected, it remains floating in place. When dropping it and re-enabling physics, it falls back to earth as expected.

In the bottom graph, the object does attach as expected, but dropping it and re-enabling physics does not work, leaving it to float off into space and through geometry.

I’m at my wit’s end to be honest. Does anyone have a set up that actually works? I want to do something very simple, but it just isn’t working like it should :confused:

Is this the same issue you are experiencing?

No, that looks like a completely different issue - I suspect with your implementation.
