Updating Objects Workflow

Hello everyone,

I am looking to establish a workflow from 3ds max to Unreal Engine which allows me to edit models in 3ds Max and see the updates in Unreal Engine without the need to re-import them.

I am aware there isn’t a ‘link’ like in stingray (or is there?), but I was wondering if there is a way that if I save over an FBX model with the same name I’ll the updated model in Unreal without the need to deleting the old and importing the new.

I couldn’t find a thread with this topic! It would be a big time saviour if there was a solution already in place.

Note that this is just illusion, it simply automatically reimport when source file is updated. Why don’t ypu check yourself is that works? for sound of it it should work
