Generally have no idea how to make UE4 help me play games that’s why its in this section.
I’ve been having problems with my unreal engine for a while. Whenever I start up a game which requires the unreal engine to work, it crashes whenever it gets to the main menu. Usually the sound cuts out then it completely freezes. I’ve just installed UE4.12 and still it crashes. Currently, the game I’m trying to play which I just bought is on steam but this issue has been happening before on games that wasn’t on steam.
I’m also wondering if this engine on this website is about playing the games or making the games because all questions I see is about creating a game. But all I want to do is play them which I can’t atm.
I also want to know how to connect this version of the unreal engine to my PC. I had a previous version which might have had the issue and whenever I get the crash, it doesn’t say UE4 just UE. Even though I’ve reinstalled the game and checked it’s cache files.
I cannot find any other places for help on this. And it annoys me that I cant play these games, please help me.
