Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How to animate a Laser blaster?

Hi, Maybe I just to dumb to find any particular explainations on this topic. But maybe some of you can guide me to the page I need.

I'm interested to make a demo of what I want to see in a video game. My vision of the graphics go into the 80s cartoon section, and I want to recreate the look in UE4. So, how is it manageable to get laser beams shooting out of the guns? Or explosions? Or Spaceship engines blasting out? Where can I animate stuff like that? And how do I import them into UE4.

I really got stuck here.

Product Version: UE 4.12

You are most likely looking for particle effects.

Read more about it here and here

Lasers can be realized with Particle Trails or Beams.
