Texture oddly repeating vertically on a cylinder
I'm sure I've done this wrong but I've never had an issue simply applying an image to a plane. I'm trying to make a bottle of alcohol, captain morgan for example. The UV coordinates in the node editor are untouched, but it repeats vertically like this:
This is what the node editor looks like, I'm just expecting this to wrap around the cylinder one time.
How can I get this to wrap properly?

that means you havent unwrapped your mesh properly. you can try to adjust it a bit with a texture coordinate node (hold down the U-key and left-mouse click) and adjust the V value.
That said, its better to go back into your 3d program and unwrap your bottle better.
