Tessellated Objects not Casting SHadow

Hello!
I’ve set up a default lit material with tessellation enabled. In my scene I have dynamic sun light. The parts of object which use tessellated material seems to don’t cast any shadows. And thus the lighting seems so flat. Even more, those parts also seem to cast SSAO and MDFAO only on itself, but not on the environment. As result, the object doesn’t fit well in scene and seems like something very seperate. Is there any known solution or planned fix?

Note, I am running Linux version of UE4 with -opengl4.
Thanks!

Hey adriansnetlis-

There are a number of SM5 / tessellation problems on Linux. This is a known issue that is currently under investigation (Unreal Engine Issues and Bug Tracker (UE-32865) ). I have added to this report to include information from your case as well.

Cheers

Hi! So it’s OS-specific case? Allright. I’ll just wait and see if Epic team finds some time for this. Hopefully it’ll happen!
