Character's shoulder not rotating when blending a punch animation
I've been using this video series to help me with allowing my character to punch. I created a punch montage and have a state machine for general motion and used layered blend per bone to put them together. However, when the character punches, his shoulder isn't rotating. Instead, it looks like his arm just snaps in half as he moves his fist forward. I have tried choosing a bunch of different bones as the branch, varying the blend weight, checking and unchecking Mesh Space Rotation Blend, and messing with the Curve Blend Options, but none of that seemed to change anything at all. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
