Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Hello,

Here is the error I'm seeing: UnrealBuildTool: ERROR: Windows SDK v8.1 must be installed in order to build this target.

You'll need to have SDK 8.1 installed in order to package your game.

If you experience another packaging failure after installing the SDK, please provide the new output log so I can take a look at the new error messages.

Have a great day

But I have windows 10

Try installing the Windows 10 SDK and seeing if that resolves the error: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/downloads/windows-10-sdk

It could be that the log is printing out the wrong error, and if that's the case I'll write up a bug report for that.

Also, UnrealBuildTool: Visual C++ 2015 toolchain does not appear to be correctly installed. Please verify that "Common Tools for Visual C++ 2015" was selected when installing Visual Studio 2015.

You'll need to ensure that you have Visual Studio 2015 installed and that you have enabled the Common Tools for Visual C++ option on the installer.

Let me know if that resolves it.

I have installed the visual studio 2015 comunity, and the link for sdk dont work

I have tested the link and it seems to be working on my end. I'd recommend performing a google search for Windows 10 SDK and downloading it from there instead if you are unable to access the link.

If you have Visual Studio 2015 installed, ensure that you have installed the Common tools for Visual C++ as well. See the link below for how to do this:
