After VR Preview, Vive drops frame until Unreal is closed
Reproducible on 4.12 and 4.13 preview 2
When using the HTC Vive and SteamVR, after I close a VR Preview of my game, the Vive begins missing frames consistently and is labelled unresponsive. This is fixed immediately by closing Unreal Engine. I can reproduce the problem on both 4.12 and 4.13 preview 2 and it happens every time I use the VR preview.
I am also being affected by open issue UE-29224 (https://issues.unrealengine.com/issue/UE-29224), where the last frame of the VR preview remains after it is closed, but not as consistently so am, unsure if they are related.
Has anyone seen this and know a fix? Else this should be added to the issues list. Thanks very much for your help :)

I have exactly the same problem on UE 4.12.5. Any update / info from Epic?
