How do I rebuild the lightning on a more complex map?
Hi! Around three weeks ago I finally got a good pc to work with unreal engine and I've only been working in unreal since then, so there are still many things to learn. The map that I built is quite complex and I'm planning to make it even more. After a few days of working I saw an error on the top left corner saying "The lighting needs to be rebuilt (1497 unbuilt objects)". So I started the rebuild which took around a minute or two, once it rebuilt, the result was a completely black map with no lightning other than the emissive materials that I made for the street lights. I tried the same process several times thinking it would fix it self, but no success. I could not undo that and I could not find any answer to this problem. So sadly I deleted the project and started over. Once I got the same error I left the project and opened a simple sample project to see if I could rebuild the lightning in a small map. Of course, it worked. But I just can seem to get it work in the bigger project. What did I do wrong? I dont know. But I just dont want to delete my project again.
Here are the before and after results.
I really hope someone can help me fix this small yet important problem. I really need to rebuild the lightning so I can work with the lights in my project.
