LOD Coloration Bug

Build Type: ‘Binary’ build from the Unreal Launcher

Build version: Version: 4.12.5-3039270+++UE4+Release-4.12

Detailed description of the issue: If i click in Editor: View Mode → LOD Coloration → Mesh LODs, my system Windows is freeze and i cant do nothing. My computer is dead and i must restart system. But if i have new empty scene with no imported any LOD, its working fine. This is happen always. I importing LOD from 3ds max 2014, FBX files.

System Specs:
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 compilation: 7601, x64, directx 11
Computer: Alienware M17xR3, type: Laptop 17’
Procesor Intel(R) Core™ i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz, 2201 MHz
Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M
RAM: 16 GB [8GB x 2]

Can anyone confirm if LOD Coloration it working of his computer?

Hello Dante,

Could you test some assets provided in the content examples pack to see if you still get the crash? An asset you can use in the content examples is SM_FBX_Box_LOD_0. If you still get this crash when using a project provided by epic then this may be an issue with your system although I’m fairly certain your specs are fine.

If the crash only occurs with your asset check to make sure you are using the proper workflow for LOD creation!
