Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How to add multiple static meshes into a blueprint?

Hello guys. I made multiple houses (in the scene) consisting out of around 100 static meshes each and I need to add them to the blueprint separately without using merge actors. I was hoping I could just drag and drop the neatly arranged meshes into the blueprint viewport.

Is there a way to do this quickly without having to add every mesh separately, copying location/rotation/scale from my scene mesh to the blueprint mesh?

I've tried parenting the meshes and trying to add them into the blueprint that way, didn't work. I've tried grouping them, also did not work. Merging actors then adding them into the blueprint would most likely work but I need to have them separately in the bp.

Thanks in advance.

Select the mesh you want to convert in a blueprint and click 'Convert selected components to blueprints Class' inside the blueprints menu.

I had the same problem problem yesterday and found your question in my research. Even if the question is old it was still in the first link of my google search. Had to give it an answer so other people might not need to search further.
