Crash resulting from creating new reflection spheres/cubes or modifying already existing ones

Everytime I try to create a new reflection sphere/cube in a level or modify the already existing ones, the editor crashes unless I’m using the “Minimal” start up level in which I’m able to create and modify multiple reflection spheres/cubes without any problems.

I have no problem running the editor with reflection spheres and cubes already existing in levels. My computer easily runs all of the examples (“Effects Cave”, “Reflections Subway” etc.) and I’m able to see all the reflections on all related surfaces. I just can’t create new reflection spheres/cubes or try alt-dragging them to make copies.

I have submitted an error report with the details.

My computer specs are: Sapphire R9 270X, i7 4770K, 16GB 2133Mhz RAM, Win 8.1

Hi alperenakyuz,

Could you provide your dxdiag so we can take a more thorough look at your system?

Hi alperenakyuz,

We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so we are marking this post as Resolved for tracking purposes. If you’re still experiencing this issue, please feel free to post back here with additional information.

Thanks, TJ

Having very similar issues with this, then it suddenly fixed itself at the cost of not being able to adjust BSP surfaces (scale, angle, alignment, position, or lightmap resolution).
