What's the best method to use to have my character pick up an object but have it hover in front of them without being able to move yourself?
Basically I don't want to use the physics method to pick up objects meaning I don't want to pick up an object and be able to run around with it. I want to pick up an object, inspect it in front of me (such as rotating it), and press two different keys to either pick it up or put it down. Not looking for an inventory tutorial just the method used to pick it up. Thank you!
