  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

License & company demonstrator

Hi,

My company wants to create an application to demonstrate his capabilities to address to industrial issues. The application is more like a "skills demonstrator". The goal is not to sell it directly, but to win new customers. Do we have to pay any fee? Because, we can have some indirect revenue because of this application done with your technology as well?

I guess, my situation is very close to McLaren Configurator project, does McLaren have to pay fee each time they sold a car?

Thanks for your answer.

Regards, Matt

My understanding of the license is that you would not have to pay a fee if you are not selling the software itself. But I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice. :-)

Yes that's it ! You pay only if you earn money with it ... Even free to play can use this engine for free !

That's correct - if the Product (as defined by the EULA) has no revenue, there is no royalty. Indirect revenue in the form of getting them to engage your company for separate services doesn't count here.

Also I can't get into our arrangement with McLaren.
