Why does UE4 not import the the FBX files used in the Third Person Blueprint Game?

Hi

I am trying to follow the Third Person Blueprint Game tutorial to find that the FBX files will not import. The error is as follows:

Error Failed to find any bone hierarchy. Try to import as Rigid Mesh option enabled.
Error Import failed.

I am using OSX 10.9.3 and UE4 4.1.1.
Any help would be appreciated.

I might have found a workaround?!? If I import the HeroTPP first then the others and select the skeleton it seems to work. I’ll know when I progress through the tutorial, but at least I have the assets in the project.

Doh! Just watching the tutorial again I see that the skeletal mesh is dragged in first as my previous comment. I was trying to drag everything in in a single drag.

I see all of my stupid mistakes as learning opportunities! :slight_smile:
