Tappy Chicken using A LOT of battery even when not playing

Hello everyone. Sorry if this isn’t the right place to post this.

I tested the official build of Tappy Chicken that was published on Google Play and it ran fine on my Xperia S. Not at 60fps, but good. Then I stopped playing and sometime later my battery went from fully charged to completely depleted. That never happened to me before with any other app or game. It seems Tappy Chicken and Google Services are doing something extremely intensive. Even with the power chord plugged in, the battery wouldn’t charge as it drained so fast. Is this some kind of bug when the game enters sleep mode?

UE4 currently not support application lifetime states for android so it’s running the game even on sleep and draining the battery and it’s support for that is in roadmap:

for now you need to close application manually after pressing home
