Player graphics jittery when rotating

I created a pawn with first person controls and used the default gun mesh.
When I look around with the camera the graphics on the gun are really bad.
It’s a bit jittery and it pulls a trace behind it.
I tried it with other meshes but it’s always the same.
When I use the FirstPersonCharacter from the starter content it does not cause that problem or at least it’s a lot less significant.
What am I doing wrong?
