Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

What's preventing the UT project from converting?

UT Devs, I've successfully built UT on Linux Mint 18, with some changes to the steps listed on the build guide. See my notes on the build guide talk page: (https://wiki.unrealengine.com/Talk:Building_On_Linux). I am able to run the editor and to open a blank project. However, when I try to open UT, I am asked to convert the project to the new engine version. When I try to do that, the conversion process hangs at 0%. My finest Google-Fu has failed me, so before I file a bug report, I wanted to ask for help here. Here's the command line output: (https://gist.github.com/ajnye/d715b8a8e3582977700655247b6fd0a8).

I've tried with both the master and release branches with the same results.

On Linux, project version detection does not work properly. You can just choose "Skip conversion" and attempt to open it anyway.
