Copyright question

Hello, I am a game development student. I am a 3D modeller/animator. I am currently doing an assessment to create a complex 3D game. I am using parts of the Shooter Game code modules as a basis for some of my work. The maps and most of the models I am using are of my own creation. This assessment is not for commercial release, it is just an assessment. The college I am doing this course through is very particular about copyright notices even for assessments that will never be released as a commercial product after graduation. All of the code modules in the Shooter Game project have copyright notices. I am wondering, what percentage of each code module do I need to change so that I will not be infringing said copyright notices?,Hello. I am a game development student. I am a 3D modeller/animator. You’re free to use Shooter Game as the basis for your educational project (or even a commercial project). That’s permitted under the EULA.

The code has copyright notices from Epic, and those notices must remain. But that doesn’t mean you can’t use it.
