Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Problem with Time Attack Racer Tutorial - Ep. 6

Hi There, ím trying to complete the Time Attack Racer Tutorial that, but when i completed the video Nº 6, and i set up my Checkpoint Tracker with all the checkpoints, as i pass through the first checkpoint it works correctly but the second Checkpoint isn't activated, it doesn't appear nor does it start generating overlaps, so the checkpoint system does not work... I checked the videos a couple of times, checked that my checkpoint was hidden and not generating overlaps when it starts, but it does not activate.

Any ideas?

My room mate and myself just completed that same video tutorial and I double-checked everything, but we are both having the same problem. One of the major drawbacks with this particular tutorial is that this guy sometimes speeds through certain areas and occasionally does things without necessarily cluing you in unless you are gluing your eyes to the screen (sometimes he connects pins without saying he's connecting them, or why). Unfortunately I have a feeling that you will never get a response here, since your post is from last year. So we will probably never know.

I just now took the time to go through the tutorial again and I'm now at Ep. 6 again. This time my checkpoints seem to be working. I don't know if you're still watching this thread, but perhaps you could post screenshots for your tracker event graph and functions? There must be a small discrepancy that we're missing.

I am getting the same problem with the following message :

I have no idea what the issue is I have rewatch the video a couple of time. I'm confused.

P.S I haven't figured a way to edit, sorry for the extra comments guys, I'll get to the point. I also have several errors of :

"Source control is disabled" and one error saying "Failed to connect to source control. Check your settings and connection then try again"

Which is very normal as I have never touched this setting on this project or any other but only on this project am I getting an error. Why ?

Problem is resolved, turned out I hadn't checked 'Generate Overlap Event' in the CheckpointBP Trigger component and a couple of nodes on my BP weren't connected somehow, all I had to do was connect them again and all was fine.

Hello. Actually, my problem is that even my first checkpoint doesn't appear. As my first checkpoint isn't there, I can't go through it and therefore the next checkpoints as well
