Unreal 4.12.5 keeps on crashing

Every time I open my project it keeps crashing. I’ve noticed it only happens when I am in the blueprints section and most often when I am searching for a component. Here is the latest crash report if it helps. I hope someone can help me with this.

  • Could you please cause the crash to occur again and provide the logs from your project’s Saved->Logs folder?
  • What steps are you taking when this crash occurs?
  • Are you able to reproduce the crash in a clean project?
  • Does this crash also occur if you upgrade a copy of your project to 4.13?

Here is the crash log. The crash happened when looking for a component on any blueprint graph and I was able to reproduce the crash in a new project. Upgrading to 4.13 didn’t fix the problem either.

If you were able to reproduce the issue, could you please provide a list of detailed repro steps?

When I go into any blueprint graph and look for a component, whether I right click on an empty space or drag off from another component, and I type in the search bar and start scrolling. The amount I have to scroll is inconsistent before it crashes.

Could you provide a brief video of your process to reproduce the crash? Following your repro does not produce a crash on my end, so it’s possible that I am missing something.

I can’t attach the video because it is 1 mb more than the maximum, but on further testing, I found that the crash only happens on my laptop scrolling with the trackpad.

Also, we’ve tried to reproduce the issue on our end using a laptop trackpad but haven’t been able to do so.
