Root Motion not working in 4.13 Preview 3

I Had a perfectly good Zombie with root motion animation driving capsule. When i converted my 4.12 Project to 4.13 (I Created a copy, don’t worry) The root motion just isn’t working anymore. The zombie used to Chase me with Root Motion applied and everything was fine. Now, he’s stuck in position and the animation and the zombie character itself isn’t moving at all. Animation is playing, but no movement at all.

Any help? Is this a 4.13 Preview 3 specific error?

Could you please provide some additional information about how your animation blueprint is set up?

It’s cool, i got it fixed by unticking “Blend root motion” in a Layered Bone node in my anim bp. Thanks!

thanks man this was driving me nuts we upgraded to 4.13 and suddenly all our character wasnt working but now it is thanks to unticking this box.

Thank you for this. I spent hours trying to figure out why root motion wasn’t working on some of my animations.

Did you untick that box in the main Anim Graph, or do you have to go through and untick all instances of it?
