Static Lights Turn Off After Baking

Hey all!

I’m trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong with the lighting on a map. I have static lights placed on candles, and they look great before baking lighting.

After baking however, the lighting all but disappears. Images below.

Any ideas on what could be causing this? I searched around the Answer Hub for a while and couldn’t find relevant. I tried increasing light-map resolution on the geometry behind, but it was already 1024, and still wouldn’t show up.

Using version on windows 10. Let me know if you guys need any more information.

Thanks!

Mike

check the “light map coordinate index” from static mesh setting. that must not be zero. set it to 1

don’t you get any UV overlapping warning while building lights?

is not that wall a static mesh converted from BSP?

I have the same problem in 4.19.1 and I can’t change “light map coordinate index” from 0 to 1 it will automatically change back to 0 and its converted too.
