This is not a crash but it is just something missing. When a map is moved in world composition window, it doesn’t register as an undo operation. This makes it very dangerous to accidentally move a piece of world.
Hi DenizPiri,
- Does this occur in a clean, blank project with no additional content or is it limited to one project?
- What steps are you taking to reproduce this on your end?
- Do you have the sublevel set as current level when you move it?
Hi ,
Sorry for not providing more info.
-
It occurs in a clean blank project with no additional content.
-
I make sure that my levels look like this. So basically main level and a sub level, with world composition enabled.
- Then I add 2 cubes to sub level, and drag them far apart so that i can see the bounding box of the level in World Composition window as such:
-
Then i simply select and move the level in the world composition window. That shifts the position of that level.
-
After this, Undo doesn’t undo the position shift that is applied.
-
Yes, current being sublevel or the persistent level doesn’t affect the outcome.
