Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

[BUG] Overlapping Dialog Waves - problem with subtitles

There is a problem when dialog waves with sound wave of the same priority overlaps. Then subtitles are not rendered at all, or disappear just after showing or not showing at all. (There was no problem with that in version 4.12) To reproduce it, create 2 dialog waves, with sound waves 5 sec. Play first one, delay for 4 sec and play the second by function PlayDialogAtLocation.

Product Version: UE 4.13

Hey JaroMast,

There are a number of settings and your set up and in order to replicate your issue on my end I am going to need some more specific steps and possibly some screenshots of your blueprint graph.

I have attempted to replicate the issue you are experiencing, but I am missing some context settings which are required to playback the dialog correctly.

Cheers,

Andrew Hurley

For context I use: Speaker: Gender - Feminine, Plurality - plural Directed at: None (removed array)

It seems like you and another user are experiencing/reporting a similar issue. I would like to request that we merge the two posts and continue troubleshooting from the link below.

Let me know if you have issues with this, or if you have further questions.
