Creating a swinging axe prop, blueprint timeline or matinee

Hi all,

Probably a bit of a noob question, but im trying to create an axe that would be swinging from the ceiling, that would be an obstacle for a player. In order to test this i have made a blueprint prop with a simple capsule shape and two collisions (for either end of the axe that would be swinging) that has code which destroys the player. The problem using matinee is that when i give the object physics so that the player cannot walk through the object, is that the animation either makes the object float away, or it just does not move ( i have tried selecting emulate physics and not including the gravity under the static mesh properties) Would this be better in a timeline? Or am i just doing something wrong with matinee? i have only briefly used the timeline blueprints to swing a door open and as this needs to travel in an arc of sorts, i figured that matinee would be a bit better as i can drag the object where i would like it to swing. Thanks in advance!
