Make Blendable Post-Processing Effect NOT shine through other objects

Hi there,

currently I’m using a post-processing effect similar to the one used in this video:


Problem is: it’s affecting all objects (even those for which custom depth is disabled) which are overlapping the object with custom depth enabled. For example, the outline is shining through walls.

I already downloaded Tom Looman’s material from his tutorial but for some reason my editor freezes when I try to open it. Maybe someone could take the time and explain exactly what I need to do to make it work for only one object.
