I’m trying to download and install unreal engine. Just downloaded the launcher and everything seemed to work fine until I clicked the “Install Engine” button under the Unreal Engine tab.The 4.13.0 version shows up under Engine Versions but I didn’t get a window to accept the EULA and it just sits at “Please Wait”
I’ve read through the troubleshooting content and looked through the forums. Nothing seems to solve the issue. I already change my DNS settings to use google DNS and I checked that I am not behind a proxy.
Something I just noticed… a number of the sections within the lancher have a “Uh oh, there is supposed to be something here. Try sorting out the connectivity issue and return to this page.” message. I wonder, is there a server down?
I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s getting this. I tried reinstalling the launcher, disabling antivirus and everything. Never even occurred to me that a server could be down. Hopefully Epic can get it sorted soon
Just saw you post, im having the EXACT same problem and someone else commented on my thread saying they are too, nice to see im not in the only one
Whenever I click on ‘Add Versions’ it sits on 4.13.0 ‘Please Wait…’ and my Learn tab states the same connectivity message yet the marketplace seems to open fine. Also tried the same methods as below to try and fix it with no luck.
I’m also having the same issue. Trying to setup on a new computer and it just does the same as everyone has stated above. Hope someone comes up with a solution.
