Why did parts of my skeleton blackout using the ART in Maya?

Hello I am new to Maya and was using the Animation and Rigging Tools and my skeleton has parts blacked out…I was wondering if I did something wrong or if there’s a way to make those areas look like the rest of the skeleton. Thanks for any help.

What version of Maya are you using? If you are using 2015 we have not currently tested the Animation and Rigging Toolset in that version, but are working on getting support for it soon, please always check here in the forums for updates and information about the ART.

Can you upload a screenshot of Maya when you are having this problem so we can begin to track down this issue.

If you could post a screenshot of what you are seeing, that would be great. I’m not sure what you mean by the skeleton being blacked out. Are you referring to the joints or the mannequin proxy geometry?

Also, any information you could provide on maya version and operating system would also be helpful.
