Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Packaging errors

Hello,

After intalling 4.13 my project didn't package, although I used 4.12 to package the project. I saw similar questions and tried the suggested fixed but still get errors.

This is the main error - PackagingResults:Error: Error Unknown Cook Failure.

Also there are these errors -

LoadErrors:Error: Error ActiveClassRedirects contains a collision with multiple redirectors for old class named AnimNode_SkeletalControlBase

LoadErrors:Error: Error ActiveClassRedirects contains a collision with multiple redirectors for old class named AnimNode_TwoBoneIK

LoadErrors:Error: Error ActiveClassRedirects contains a collision with multiple redirectors for old class named AnimNode_RotationMultiplier

LoadErrors:Error: Error ActiveClassRedirects contains a collision with multiple redirectors for old class named AnimNode_ModifyBone

The thing is that I never used any of these classes. I'm developing a ball game. There are no animations. For nearly a year I've developted this game.. it will be a shame if something happened to it.

Product Version: UE 4.12

Hey Aviolezt,

Could you please attempt to package the project again and then provide the full output log from your project's Saved->Logs folder so I can take a closer look at the errors you are seeing?

Hello Sean,

Here is the error with all its beauty - file:///C:/Users/Angel/Desktop/error.txt

You should know that the new project showed up only after I restarted the computer, but older projects don't. I have 4-5 backups from different versions and nothing works. I can play the game in the editor but it is still unpackageable.

Thank you for your time!

I'm unable to access the log that you provided. Could you please re-attach it to a new comment so that I can take a closer look? Thank you

Hey thanks for the help but I have managed it. I just copied the content in small bits to a new project so I can pinpoint the error origin and found out that there were 2 levels which caused it. Still don't know why or how, but I'll just create them again. Still better than the whole game I guess. If you are interested in finding how this happened I'll attach the log, but I wasted enough time with this and will continue (using source control..) with the development because I'm close to finishing it. Maybe after that I'll look at it.link text

Nave a nice day and thanks.
