OpenGL ES 3.1 Preview in Editor

Hi,
I was very excited as I heard that the Unreal Engine 4.13 supports OpenGL ES 3.1 officially. As I know you can archive a drastically better visual quality with it which is comparable with the graphics quality on a PC.

But I found no OpenGL ES 3.1 preview mode in the editor. Why? There is only an option for OpenGL ES 2…

Hi Andreas,

It’s still considered experimental so you have to manually enable it in the Editor Preferences > Experimental settings.

Once you do this you’ll have the options available in the Settings drop down to set it for High-End Mobile/Metal preview.
