Hi there!
I am trying to install UE 4.13 through the Epic Games Launcher. Every time I try to install the program, the verification process will finish, but then a window appears saying that the required prerequisites have not been installed.
I have tried deleting all “Epic Games” related files from my system and redownloading the program again, but nothing seems to make UE install.
I’m not sure if it will help, but I am running Windows 10.

What location do you have the Launcher installed in on your computer? Would it be possible to get a screenshot of the window that appears after the Engine install completes?

So here’s what worked for me. And I don’t know why this worked, but it did. Click the “add versions” button at the top and fully install 4.13.2, then install 4.14.0. No idea why this worked. I was having the same validation issue and had never used this software before. So it may be an issue primarily for new users, but not existing.
I am having the exactly same problem and I have tried every fix available on the internet including this one, nothing works.
