Android Project Packaging

Hi , i’m trying to packaging my project on android platform , Although i install “Code Works for Android 1R5” completely , i got an error (attached file), please help.

note : i use ue4.8.2 , win 10

If you’re using 4.8.2, you should be using AndroidWorks 1R4 instead, that should fix the issue that you’re running in to. Make sure that you update your Android SDK information within the Project Settings > Android part of the engine and also you might want to restart your computer.

thanks for replying , but there isn’t any link for download AndroidWorks 1R4 in NVidia website , how can i download it ?
note : i already set my android SDK information within Edit menu > Project Setting > android .

When you open up your Android Component Manager, change the dropdown menu from 1R5 to 1R4 and do the standard installation. That should correct any troubles you’re running in to.

Here is a screenshot of what mine looks like, I am on the upgraded version of CodeWorks though because I use 4.12 and 4.13 the most. But you should still see the same type of dropdown menu.

Hi,

the problem is resolved by installing UE4.13 from launcher ,(i already used compiled UE4.8.2 source), and now i can compile android project , but when i compiled sample 2D Side scroller project without any change , i got compile error after compile . (i attached log file)
note : i compile that on win64 platform without any error.

In 4.13, were you able to package your project? If not, could you please show me what your set up looks like? I provided screenshots in my last comment to you.

By the way, packaging for Windows has nothing to do with packaging for Android. They’re totally different platforms and they have different requirements to package properly.

the wrong and delayed answer from epic support team , forced users to use another software like unity. i saw many of resolved they’re problems by themselves.

the compile error resolved just by changing “SDK API Level” to “matchndk”, in project setting->android SDK.

if you have questions, please do not be embarrassed.
