Built lighting dark after Upgrade to 4.13.0

I recently upgraded my project from 4.12 to 4.13. After upgrading I rebuilt my lighting without making any changes and the complete scene turned out really dark. All static lights seam to be way darker while the dynamic part of the light (movable light sources for example) seam to work just as before.

Does anybody know how to get my old lighting-scenario back?

I have the same problem even without upgrading the project: everything looks darker in 4.13. In 4.12.5, I’ve tried to create:

  • a new blank project - Mobile/Tablet - Scalable 2D or 3D - no starter content
  • delete everything on default level except Player Start and floor (so delete Atmos. Fog, Sky Sphere and Light)
  • add default point light somewhere in the center (0,0,100)
When I try to do the same in 4.13, scene looks a lot darker.

Edit: when trying 4.12.5 and 4.13 with Desktop/Console and Maximum settings, light looks the same. If I switch anything, like Desktop/Console to Mobile/Tablet or Maximum Quality to Scalable 2D or 3D, everything is darker again in 4.13

I think I found a solution:

  • Copy everything, moving it a bit away.
  • Delete the old Objects

Okay… after I found out, that I forgot to move some invisible colliders and moved them back, the lighting got very dark again. I now turned off all shadow and render influences which should have fixed the problem.

I think the real problem was, that 4.13 changed the rules which objects are being included in the light building process.
