School district blocks game content. What specific url or ip/port needs to be unblocked to allow download and launch of Unreal Engine?

Greetings,

Our K12 school district blocks game content. We need to be able to install and run Unreal Engine. What needs to be unblocked to allow this?

thanks,

Hi

From the official troubleshoot documentation here:

Make sure you are not behind a proxy (You can check to see if you are here) and do not have epicgames.com filtered. If you are behind a proxy, add a wildcard exception for *.epicgames.com (or ask your IT department to do so). If your IT department would rather directly whitelist subdomains, there is a list at the bottom of this section.

You will find the sub-domains list there, just in case here it is:

Hope this help. Best regards.

Is there a install package without the launcher? Because that is the issue.
