Mesh distribution by material (similar to grass tool)

Hello,

I’m looking for a way to distribute meshes in a similar way as by using the landscape grass material, but on a static mesh.

I’m working on a uban project with areas divided as below (because of specific grid division I can’t use the landscape). I would like to propagate different types of vegetation which would be assing to specific matertial (colors).

I know I can’t use the grass type tool, but is there a way to do it by blueprint or any other way?

Would be really greatful for some help
