Cascade: Beam Emitter not visible in Lit View Mode if Interpolation Points <2

Hello, I’m not sure if this is a bug, but as I was following this Epic Games tutorial, I noticed my beam emitter was not visible in the Lit View Mode of Cascade until the Interpolation Points was set to 2 or greater (OR until the source and target values were positive; ie -200 x source and 200 x target would not display if interpolation points were below 2). The beam was visible, however, in the Unlit View Mode even when Points were less than 2. In the tutorial, the beam is clearly visible in Lit View Mode even before changing this value. very much for looking into this!

Hi AJ,

I was able to view the Beam Emiter system in the content examples after changing the Interpolation Points to 0 (I also tested other values). Here is a gif of me doing this just look that the interp points at the bottom right.

Is there anything else you did other than change the interpolation points on a beam emitter with the Source and Target values you mentioned?

hope that helped,

Ed for your reply and for checking on that! Yes, I was also able to make the Beam Emitter system in the content examples work when set to 0. My version also works fine after completing all the steps in the tutorial, even though at the point in the video I originally linked to, it was not for some reason.

I noticed, though, that with Max Beam Count set to 1, Sheets to 1, and the Noise module deleted, that the beam does sometimes temporarily turn invisible unless you move your viewport camera inside of Cascade a bit. However, I would have to redo the first 8 minutes of the tutorial from scratch to see if this was the behavior I noticed earlier, or something else entirely.

Thank you again!
