In the blueprint editor, I often connect a line/wire to a blueprint, and then need to change it. How do I change the line/wire to a different node.
Hold Ctrl and click&drag the line to move it to another pin. Alt+Click on the line or the pin to remove connection.
The Alt+Click has an annoying side effect. It removes the closest reroute node. I don’t know why they did this, it’s not useful at all. Severing a connection between two reroute nodes does not mean I want to eliminate them. Maybe a staff member can file this as a bug.
Had same issue. Solution is to Alt+Click on the output pin of the node you want to disconnect instead of the input pin of its destination.
Ha, I just had to look this up myself as I had a bunch of material editors wires I wanted to get rid of quickly… Is this still the status quo? Same UI/UX in UE5?
A key and drag gesture to snip wires (like houdini) would go such a long way in the interface.
