Streaming Level to Landscape and changing component size

I have a process that I’m trying to figure out 100%. I’m loading in streaming levels to make the grounds seamless between the geometry (using World Machine to export the accurate DEM data in tiles). Once in there I need to convert to landscape since we are going to be multiplayer (two to three users from my understanding thus far). From there I need to up resolution on certain areas where we will be close in with the camera and have high detail objects and characters.

This is for a simulation tool so geographical data has to be fairly accurate. I can’t just “make” the terrain or sculpt in details since I have to do specific datasets.

  1. Import the terrain as tiled streaming levels
  2. Set up textures/materials
  3. Convert to Landscape
  4. Select a component and change the component size with the component size tool.

Does this sound like the proper process for this?

Thanks!
