Jump and charge jump animations

Hi!

I’m trying to make my charge jump have different animation than my tap jump and make idle while in air and animation on impact… I don’t know how what is the best way to seperate tap jump and charge jump to get responsive feeling tap jump and make charge jump with charge idle starting if button holding let’s say for a 0.20 sec and then lead it to charge jump animation and then to air idle to heavy impact animation when colliding with ground and making particle effects on chage jump and hit on ground…
