[Test] Is it possible to pass a test preset file (.uap) to the editor command line?

Is there a way to pass a .uap (preset file) to UE4Editor-Cmd.exe? I see a previous post from 2 years ago where this is on the internal list of things to do. Any status on that? Thanks.

Hi jackj1,

Do you have a link to the post you mentioned? I did some looking around and wasn’t able to find a post on this topic from a couple years ago.

In this post “Run automated testing from command line” from asked Oct 01 '14 at 5:38 AM

“To run a preset collection through command line is not currently possible but it is on our list of things to do.”
Thanks

Thanks for providing that link. It wasn’t quite what I was looking for, which explains why I wasn’t able to find it. There have been some changes to automated testing in the last few versions of the Engine, but I am not sure if we have yet added what you are looking for. I’ll see if I can get some more information for you.

Hi ,

I was able to get a little more information about this functionality. At the moment you are able to pass a group of explicit test cases via the commandline, or pass a namespace containing a batch of tests. However, we do not yet have the ability to pass in a preset file. Unfortunately , who made the comment that you referred to previously, has left the company and unfortunately I do not believe that there is anyone currently working on that particular functionality.

Thanks . I would appreciate it if this functionality could be added at some point.

Hi ,

I have entered a feature request ticket (UE-36710) to make sure this request is documented since I was unable to find an existing ticket for it.
