Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Character can continuously jump

Since 4.13 it seems that my character classes can now continuously jump . My codes are following Shootergame's format for characters. I have checked and it seems that this is happening on Shootergame as well. You can test it out by downloading shootergame project.

Hey Frozenfire,

Can you post how your code is making the character jump?

Thanks

Hi Kyle,

I just found your other thread about solving this. I'm not sure what changes did the engine go through to cause this in 4.13. But I manage to solve it with the solution you provide on the other thread.

However do take note that this is still going on in a freshly downloaded ShooterGame 4.13

It might be an issue with the animation blueprint, once it start jumping it can't stop right? or does start jumping the minute you start the game? If so, it might be that you jumping animation is being set to loop

Thank you for submitting a bug report, however at this time we believe that the issue you are describing is not actually a bug with the Unreal Engine, and so we are not able to take any further action on this. If you still believe this may be a bug, please provide steps for us to reproduce the issue, and we will continue our investigation.
