Can't use daz character with ue4 animations

So I’m having issues with using a character I created in Daz3D with any type of animations in UE4. I have tried running it through mixamo, through motionbuilder, and just trying to retarget it to the animations themselves. With all of this I have gotten nowhere and right now its making me want to pull my hairs out. If anyone could help that would be wonderful. Or if anyone has any tips I could use/follow. Since the file is to big to upload here, I’ve uploaded my character to google if anyone wants to have a look and see if they can find a way to make this work. Also if this thread needs to be moved to another section then by all means do so.

1- Your character has 71 materials?!!1?1?1?/!?!?1/1?1?1?1??!!?1/w1/?! If you keep it that way you’re gonna reach your project’s performance budget with one character. Bake the textures into one material

2- you should check out this video about re-targeting animations in UE4 Skeleton Assets | v4.8 | Unreal Engine - YouTube

3- I uploaded your model to mixamo, all I had to do was manually specify the matching bones names, and it worked. Here is the output result In_Progress

71 material is too much . Bake them as Night Watcher said or your game performance will surely be affected by a single character .

Ya for some reason it kept giving me way to much materials.

Also I’ve tried to import the results you got to see them and nothing worked. My main concern is I bought an animation pack off the marketplace but have trouble using them with this skeleton. The animation pack is this one, Heavy-sword Animation Set. I’ve also tried following the video and they always turn out like some horror monster where pieces are everywhere
Here is an example animation I’m using:
