Instanced Static Mesh and Hierachic I.S.M. and copy paste Problem

Hey Folks,

right now i working on some blueprints with Instanced Static Meshes (I.S.M.) and Hierachic I.S.M. (H.I.S.M).

I figured out its possible to copy & paste all your instanced from ISM to HISM. Works perfect.
But if you now copy your Instanced from HISM to an new ISM you just can select the last instance inside the new ISM.

  1. ISM = everything works fine, you can select every instance
  2. HISM = just possible to select the first one (the other inside the transform options)
  3. ISM with pasted HISM = just possible to select the lastest Instance

just wanna let you know.

Okay i found a workaround / fix for it. simple and usefull.

But lets start from the beginning. You create an ISM, then you create an HISM and copy paste all your instances to the HISM. Fine.

Now the trick comes up. Create a new ISM, setup the mesh and NOW click 1 times on the + for creating an instance.
after its created, you can copy paste now you HISM mesh list to the new ISM and eh voilá you can rework them manual and single.

So why is usefull at all? I created an grass path. Now i want to add it to an new blueprint, but do not wanna reposition everything by its self. Just the hole actor maybe lets say about 180 degress. So i load all meshes from ISM to HISM, rotate it and now create an new ISM and paste the actors from HISM to the new ISM.
