Simulate gravity on meshes

Hi!
Okay I’m not sure about the title but let me explain : I’d like to put some apples on the ground of my scene, but I don’t want to put every apple, rotate them, move them.
So I was wondering if there was a way to just put them somewhere and make them fall on the ground so they find their way by themselves ? I don’t want this to happen when I push play, I’d like it to happen in my viewport.

Is it possible ?
