Pawn adopts new fixed camera Axis after stopping?

Hello, I need help setting up the player pawn so that it doesn’t turn around after entering a new camera area. I have the basic camera switch system set up just fine (like Resident Evil). Although if the pawn enters an area where there is front facing camera the pawn turns around or left and right directions become reversed. I’m trying to get the pawn to keep the same direction and orientation of the last areas camera and only reorient to the new cameras axis after the pawn as stopped moving or its speed as hits 0, just like R.E. Remastered. Can anyone please help me? I’ve been trying to figure this out for three years now with no luck, I’m desperate.
