we currently have a problem with some substance instances. If you change setting in the instance the textures are not updating. Even saving and closing and restarting the engine don’t help, the substance texture 2d is still the same, even if the values in the setting are totally different now.

I did some testing on my end and was able to use the Randomize Seed function as expected. Could you provide some screenshots and the steps you are following so I can reproduce this issue on my end in a new blank project?

Be sure you are exporting the substance file correctly by making sure the ‘Random Seed’ option is checked.

Thanks for looking into it, however the problem is persist. The SBSAR are exported correctly with random seed exposed, and they work…but at some point of editing an instance they stop updating. I can provide you an example project tomorrow when I’m back at work.
