Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Ribbon Particle LOD not working

Hey guys, I have a slight problem with the Ribbon Data. I am currently trying to use the LOD to increase the sizing of my ribbon the further out I go. It's just a basic ribbon which has a spawn PerUnit Module.

The problem is my Highest LOD is always shown, even when I disable the emitter at a range of 200 cm for testing purposes.

Any suggestions as to why, or a workaround?

Thank you for submitting a bug report. I have reproduced this issue and logged a report for it here: https://issues.unrealengine.com/issue/UE-36606

While testing I noticed other size modules still worked in other LODs. If possible try to use the size by life and size scale module to get the desired effect.

Cheers,

Ed Burgess
