Unreal Engine freezes my screen or stops at 0% when trying to build.

Greetings! Recently, as the title claims. I came across that situation more than once and decided to upgrade my ram to 24GB. Previously I had 8GB of ram and looked up the issue which led me to upgrading it in the first place.

After upgrading of course, I still get that issue. Here are my specs.

Intel(R) Core™ i5-6400 CPU @ 2.70GHz (Haven’t overclocked it yet to 3.3GHz)

24GB DDR4 Ram

Radeon™ RX 480 with 8GB GDDR5

1TB (64MB Cache) 7200 RPM SATA 6GB/s

I don’t want to mess with upgrading the processor. But if it comes down to it, I’d be more than willing. Should I upgrade my ram again? Also I should include that I’m doing an open world project. The map consist on around 1,000 actors or meshes. Most of it being foliage and trees at the moment. And I imagine that the number of actors or meshes will increase hugely once I’ve finished.

I’ve tried various things around the AnswerHub in regards to lightmap resolutions or even volumes. It’s still an issue.

Nevermind! I found the issue! I made some adjustments to the foliage’s lightmap resolutions and it’s all good.
